Highest Steam player counts this week — 14–20 September 2026

This week, "Counter-Strike 2" peaked at 1,305,298 players on Steam, marking a 4% decrease compared to the previous week. "Dota 2" followed with a peak of 847,552 players, down by 5%.

"PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS" saw a significant increase, reaching 780,225 players, an 87% rise from last week. "Limbus Company" also experienced a notable surge, with a peak of 134,704 players, up 244% compared to the previous week.

Other games with player-count changes include "Rust," which increased by 29% to 135,299 players, and "Apex Legends," which gained 3% for a peak of 270,476 players. Meanwhile, "WARDOGS" and "Valheim" both saw declines of 18% and 19%, respectively.
